Hi crafty folks,
This is Anjali, Creative designer @Craftyscrappers and this month is dedicated to the most fun festival and Craftyscrappers leaves no stone unturned so we have a beautiful collection of stamps from which I have used Holi kids stamps (both girl and boy) and I love how they turned out.
I have made a cute little mini explosion box cards with the stamps. Here are few close ups of the same:
So here is a quick tutorial to make your own little explosion box card:
1. I took a 9×9 inched white cardstock and scored arc 3 and 6 inches from both sides, now I have 9 squares from where I cut out 1st,3rd,7th and 9th square.
then for the cap I took another red cardstock measuring 4×4 inches where I scored it at 1/2inch and 3.5 inch from both sides and then made a slit on all four corners and used that slit to join all four edges that turns to a box and finally glued it, that becomes the cap of the explosion box.
2. I stamped and coloured all images and sentiments and fussy cut them from the stampset.
3. Then I added patterned papers on the inside and outside the box card and arranged the stamped images on each panel using foam tape.
And for the centre I used a heavy cardstock small piece to make the kid stamp stand and pasted the stamped image on both sides with a foam tape and that made it stand still.
and for the top of the box (cap) I simply added two images and added a Happy holi sentiment.
and we are done!!!
Wasn’t that easy and you get a super cute mini explosion box card!!!
